Normally every year, during the lunar 7th month, my family will go down to Malaysia to "invite" my father's spirit up and ask him questions. This year is no different, but something spooky just happened, that made my hair stand up.

3 years ago, while talking to my father, my grandmother then asked him to give her a good 4D number so that she can buy and strike money. My dad gave her 7763, but he said that this number will appear 3 years later, just the day before we will go and visit him again. My grandmother forgot about it until today morning, when we got reminded about the number, and apparently it's also the medium's motorcycle license plate number. Both my grandmother and the medium didn't remember about it, and end up missing the chance to win money.

I mean, we can randomly generate a number out and then say by when it will come out. I guess mathematically we can calculate the chances of that happening, but I'll leave that to the mathematicians. But what are the chances of a spirit being invited up, give a 4D number, and accurately tell us when will the number appear? 1 out of a trillion?!

And how did my dad know that I have a girlfriend, even when my grandmother and auntie never mentioned it in front of him, except when we visit his grave during Qing Ming?!

Sometimes it's just good to rather believe that spirits exist than not isn't it? I used to think that it wasn't REALLY true because the medium was quite close to us, and knew quite alot of things about my dad and my family. But today, there were 2 group of my grandmother's friends who have never visited him, and he displayed the exact characteristics of her friends' relatives!

Who knows, my dad might be standing right beside me in my room now looking at me blog about this, and laughing his ass off.
