I know it's bad of me, but I've decided to skip the interview for today.
Today's interview is supposed to be at an ulu factory at International Road, where the job is to do data entry and packing for 2 weeks @ $6/hr.
I decided to skip it, only because I got shortlisted by Mediacorp to be their temp programme sales assistant.
Programme Sales Assistant (Temp)
Salary: Hourly rated
Job Description: • Assist in the production of a web programme • Assist in the daily operations of the team • Support general administrative duties
Preferably with the following skills/personalities: • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and the Internet • Basic knowledge of programming would be a plus • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin • Meticulous, disciplined, organised with good attitude
Other information: • 5 days work week, 9am to 6pm • Able to commit for minimum of 3 months • Males waiting to be enlisted into army are welcome
Interested candidates who can start work immediately, please email your resume to: gracelau@mediacorp.com.sg. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
For now, I can only hope that I get this job, else I'd have to start looking for a job all over again. But I won't regret not taking up that packing and data entry job.
So am I a bad boy for not going for the interview, and calling to tell them that I reject it?
