What happens if one day, you have the power to kill anyone you want just by writing his/her name with his/her looks in mind into a book?
In this movie, the genius who picked this book up, decided to write down all the bad guys names into the book, and make the world a better place. The reason he wants to do so is because as a law student, he knows that law has its limitations. There are still criminals out there who are left unpunished.
But then again, if you are one who kills all the bad guys, doesn't that make you a killer too?
In the movie, there were debates over whether the genius is a good guy or a bad guy. By the way, his name is Kira, which means "killer".
Some say that he is the saviour of the world, and that with him around, people will live in fear and therefore not dare to commit crime anymore. Some say that he himself is a killer too, and that such actions cannot be accepted.
Which side are you on?

If I have the book, the first person I will think of putting his name in the book is Bill Gates. But before that, I'll make sure that he creates a program that randomly selects a country, and generates an identity number of a person. After that, he'll use it to select someone to inherit ALL of his fortune before he commits suicide. And that person will be me! Hahaha.
Or another case is that I'll bring the book to school, and if I get a bad grade for my modules, I'll just confront the lecturer and tell him to change it, while holding the death note right infront of him. This way, I can be assured of a First Class Honours!
I mean, which lecturer tells his students that he is a damn good lecturer just because he thinks that we understand what he says? Which lecturer tries to smoke through his students' questions, and leave all of us confused?
There's just something not right. It's not that no one bothers to listen to him, but rather no one understands what he is talking about. Firstly, his notes are full of errors. Secondly, he reads from the notes. Lastly, he doesn't explain properly.
I'm in the lecture now, and I can tell you that many of us are either angry with him because we know that he is not explaining what he is supposed to, or that we're totally not listening because we do not understand what he says. We might as well self study.
It is totally red! And the worst thing is that I keep seeing a blur patch in my right eye. No no no, it's not because I didn't wear my spectacles. There's just this significant white patch that I keep seeing. This ain't good man.
How am I going to aim my shot in soccer or pool next time?
How am I going to see my exam papers next time?
How am I going to see my friends next time?
How am I going to see my girlfriend or other girls on the street next time .......
I don't know whether is it the haze or not, but I've been coughing non stop these few days. For as long as I can remember, this year seems to be the worst. We have a PSI that remains in the unhealthy range constantly, which doesn't sound good. Everyday when I go to school, at the platform at Jurong MRT Station, the visibility is so poor I can barely see the IMM sign, which is so FREAKING HUGE!
I can't remember when was the day I saw the Straits Times having this headline "Indonesia apologises to Singapore" or something like that. According to Dear, there's no point in apologising after this has already happened. What happens if we smoke your entire country for weeks and then apologise? What if we kill you and then apologise?
Sometimes, there are things that, once happened, there's no point in apologising because it doesn't make any difference. For me, I'm angry that this stupid haze is around, and even when I know of this apology, I still remain as angry.
I just pray that this stupid haze will leave asap. I don't wish to see the day where the PSI reaches 200 constantly, and that we are adviced to wear masks to work or school.
If that happens, I have a business idea.
I'll design some cute masks and then sell it on the streets. Hello Kitty, Doraemon, Bleach. Whatever designs that I can think of. Maybe even adult themed. Haha. *Not suitable for children under 12*
*Cough Cough* Damn haze. I'm losing my voice!
Oh, and by the way, I just installed Windows Vista on my laptop. I must say that it looks really beautiful, but it eats your resources. Both your hard disk space and your memory. Do not try if you have a desktop/laptop that has less than 1GB ram.
