Stolen HP

I am so going to kill the person who stole my handphone yesterday at Klassic when I was having my pool training session.

My N73! A christmas present from my auntie!

And now, I have to put aside my plan to buy a new computer. Because I need a new handphone!

Sigh.

When someone loses his/her handphone, I think the first thing that comes to mind is, "holy shit. all my contacts!"

For Tammy, it might be, "Aww man. My videos..."

My 200+ contacts! All gone!!!!!!!!!

Like what Sara said, I feel naked without my handphone.

Mornings are where you can see interesting things.

1) Seeing a lady carrying a baby, and standing in the middle of the road because all the stupid drivers didn't let her cross the road first, even when the green man is light up!

2) Seeing a lady wearing bare back which goes all the way to her ass, and squeezing with people in the MRT. Oh, did I mention her thick perfume smell? I just happened to stand behind her, and I'm super sensitive to perfume smell. Luckily I didn't sneeze and spread all my mucus on her back haha.

3) Seeing (and hearing) loud Indian music coming out from an Indian guy's earphones, who was standing beside me in the MRT. I swear, I could see him moving his head, as though he was dancing to the music. At 8am on an MRT train no less!

4) Seeing a guy with eyebrow so damn long, he can actually comb it and play with it! It's crazy!

I love morning crowds, but I hate waking up in the mornings :(

Touching Movie

Happened to watch a touching Hong Kong movie on SCV Chn 62. Don't know the name, and only know one actor by the name of Eason Chen.

Eason and GF broke up, due to misunderstandings which I swear is exactly the same as what is happening right now in mine. He too is just like me, one who doesn't know how to express.

Back to the movie. He's a nurse, he got kidnapped by a gang of robbers, was forced to treat them when they get injured, and also be their driver.

GF on the other hand, frantically tries to find him and save him from the gang.

At the end of the movie, Eason went crazy when the boss of the gang asked his wife to bring GF back. He was asking the boss why involve his gf, when he is innocent. He even claimed that he hasn't done anything for his girlfriend, to the extent that by treating them the entire day, he has already given them much more than what he has given to his girlfriend.

He knows that he is going to die, because he didn't believe that the gang will release him. The last thing he wanted to do for his girlfriend was not to get her involved, so that she will be safe. Instead, he didn't know that his girlfriend wanted to come along with the boss's wife, willingly.

Twist of events. Boss killed to killed Eason, Eason turned around to kill him instead. Boss's wife in car sees it, knocks GF unconscious, drives the car into the sea, dives out of the car before it plunged in, stood up and fire 1 gun at Eason, hugged her husband, committed suicide, Eason jumped into see to save GF, successfully saved GF, but himself went unconscious.

The touching was this. GF was a good swimmer, and tried to save Eason 3 times, but failed to do so. In the last try, Eason regained consciousness, found himself trapped under the car, pushed GF away, and died infront of her. GF had no choice but to save herself.

In this case, the only time Eason managed to convince his GF that he is concerned about her, loves her and does everything for her, is when he dies.

Although it has similarities to my current situation, I certainly hope that things will be much better for me.

7.50am:
Saw this on friendster, but never really believed.

SAGITTARIUS- The Coolest one. Nice to everyone they meet. Their Love is one of a kind. Silly, Fun and sweet. Have own unique appeal. Most caring person Ever meet! However not the kind of person you wanna mess with... u might end up crying...

Nice to hear that my love is one of a kind though. Does that mean that I'm devoted to one person?

11.25am:
OMG my 3rd post in a day. And it's only in the morning.

These Few Days

These few days have been really busy for me. Yesterday and today, from 9 to 6, I'm actually working at Suntec Theatre, where there is a Cancer seminar organised by Channel NewsAsia.

At first I thought that this is going to be a very boring seminar, whereby I won't be able to understand what the doctors are saying. But I was soooo wrong.

I feel sad for those patients that the doctors show or quote in their examples, for they can be anybody like you and me, our friends or somebody we know, and by looking at the pictures itself, we can actually know that the patient has been suffering from so much pain that we can never ever imagine.

But due to the advancements of technology, I'm so glad that we have these doctors who can detect the cancer cells by using the high-tech equipments, shrink it by using chemotherapy, before surgically removing it.

Not only that, we have more choices of drugs now, that enable us to control the cancer cells from spreading. But the downside of it is that EACH pill costs about SGD$100+, and the patients will have to consume like many a day.

Most importantly, we have to show support to the cancer patient. Doctors themselves are not enough to guide them through the entire process. Support from family, friends, psychiatrists, counselors are required too.

But the bad thing is that I stood for too long being an usher, and now my left ankle is injured quite badly, in the sense that I cannot turn my ankle at all. I don't know what happened to it too. Damn.

And on friday, I think I either did a good deed, or I got conned. Here's what happened.

I was at the bus stop outside Mediacorp at about 6pm, and I sat beside this indian lady. After about 2 minutes, she suddenly turned around and talked to me. She told me that her right eye is blind, and when she took the bus, she dropped her wallet, which has her ezlink. She needed $3.80 to take 3 buses home, and asked if I could give her. I didn't have any coins, so I checked my wallet, and I only had a $10 note. I told her that I don't have coins, but only a $10 note, she said it's fine and that she can change it to coins.

1) How was she able to change it to coins where there isn't any shops nearby?
2) Why on earth was she there in the first place?

But I still decided to give her the money, because I felt that if my money could really help her, then it'll be a good deed. She asked for my handphone number so that she can pay me back the next day. I was thinking, "will she call me for more money?" So I decided that she didn't need to do so, and I boarded my bus a minute later.

So am I conned?
