The entire day was spoiled by stupid Neo. Neo, go read "A Dummy's Guide To Basic Courtesy". KNN, we message you how many times, you can't reply ah? What the fuck is wrong with you? Even now, I still haven't got an answer from you. Don't tell me you sleep the entire day. Even if so, you can't reply when you wake up?
I saw an article in the papers today that said that there are some people who actually dump their old parents overseas, and the target are mostly old and senile ones. What the children will do is that they will bring their parents overseas in the pretext of having holiday, and then leave them there while they come back.
How cruel are these people? Just because they are old and senile, they become a hassle to you and therefore you decide to dump them away like rubbish?
If I were one of the parents, I'd be thinking, "If I knew this would have happened, I wouldn't have wanted to give birth to you."
I received an email from a friend of mine, and it says that there is such a security system that exists. Apparently, when you are at an ATM and you are being threatened by someone who wants you to withdraw all your money and give it to him, you key in your pin number in reversed order i.e. 1234 becomes 4321, and the internal security alarm will ring. The ATM will still give you the money, while the police make their way to the ATM that you are at, and arrest the thief.
I found it very interesting, and tried to check out on the internet regarding this. But sadly, it is a fake system. The idea was there, but was not implemented. Imagine what happens if it is actually implemented in Singapore? It sounds like a good system to me.
But if the victim happens to have a pin number like 111111, then good luck to him.
And also, when you are being threatened at gunpoint whatsoever, will you be able to think calmly and try to enter your pin number in reversed order? Doesn't sound like an easy job to me. If I were the victim, I might even have troubles entering my actual pin number correctly!
Honestly, wouldn't luring the thief to be able to be spotted by the security camera be the best solution?
